We are proud to announce that Willen Hospice will be the official Charity Partner for the SME MK and Buckinghamshire Business Awards 2026.

This year, Willen Hospice will be working alongside the awards to help raise awareness and support for the vital care and services they provide to patients and families across the local community. As a well-respected charity in the region, Willen Hospice is dedicated to delivering compassionate, specialist care and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Through this partnership, the awards aim to highlight the important work of Willen Hospice while bringing the business community together to support a cause that plays such a significant role in Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire. We are honoured to have Willen Hospice involved and look forward to celebrating both business success and community impact at this year’s awards.

About Willen Hospice

Willen Hospice is an independent hospice and registered charity based in Milton Keynes. We provide free, expert care to adults in the city and surrounding areas who are living with a life-limiting illness. Patients are cared for in the comfort of their own home, by our community team Willen at Home, or in our 15-bedroom In-Patient Unit overlooking Willen Lake.

Our multidisciplinary teams offer a wide range of services to support patients and their loved ones during what may be the toughest time of their lives. Through our care, information and advice, we help to improve patients’ wellbeing, so that they can focus on what matters most to them and live well, for as long as that may be. We embrace innovation in our services, so that we continue to grow and develop to meet the changing needs of our community. Most importantly, our care is personalised, to make sure we’re treating each patient holistically and in a way that’s best for them.

Our current services include:

    • In-Patient Unit
    • Willen at Home community team
    • Lymphoedema Service
    • Therapeutic and Wellbeing Service, including physiotherapy, counselling and spiritual care
    • Education – both for our own staff and other local healthcare professionals, to help improve local palliative care
