PUBLIC VOTE: EXPLAINED

We’re often asked about the difference between our public vote and our award categories, so here’s a simple guide.

Public Vote
The Public Vote is nomination-based only and not judged. It recognises individuals or business leaders who are making a real difference in their business community. Success comes from being nominated and supported through public votes.

There is no written entry required — participation is purely through nominations and voting. The Public Vote is also completely free to take part in.

Award Categories
Our award categories are submission-based and are judged. Each entry is reviewed by up to four independent judges, ensuring a fair and thorough assessment.

These categories recognise business performance, growth, innovation, and excellence, celebrating outstanding achievements within the SME business community.

ENTRY RULES

  1. Entry into the Business Leader Public Vote category is FREE OF CHARGE.
  2. You are limited to 1 vote per person.
  3. We reserve the right to extend the deadline.
  4. By entering these awards, you agree to our business partners and sponsors having access to your contact details.
  5. Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. Nominees may be split into different divisions based on number of employees. Please note: two part time employees equate to one full time employee.
  7. Sponsors of the event are not eligible for nomination.
  8. Nominations are NOW OPEN, and will close on Monday 6th April.
  9. Voting is NOW OPEN, and will close on Monday 13th April.
  10. By entering the awards, you authorise us to use personal data collected during the registration process for the purposes of administering the awards, and receiving/circulating further information regarding the awards and other relevant events from time to time. Please note: Any financial information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be disclosed to anyone other than the panel of judges. Nominees may take up to 72 hours to be updated on the website.
