The Town & County Business Champions 2021, which were launched to recognise the micro businesses achieving great things in our local community, now have the backing of a new partner.

Barons Cambridge, a BMW & Mini dealership based in Cambridgeshire, was so impressed with the national initiative that its team have come on board to support award organisers Events & PR as sponsors for the Cambridge, Newmarket, Ely, Huntingdon and Royston areas.

Kevin Appleton Head of Business at Barons Cambridge said: “We are proud to partner up with the Town & County Business Champions 2021. Over the last 12 months we have seen small businesses across Cambridgeshire really come into their own to support their local community and, as a dealership that truly believes in the importance of customer satisfaction and having people at its heart, we want to work with Events & PR to ensure that these small businesses get the recognition they deserve for what they have achieved in the most trying of times. We look forward to hearing some great success stories.”

Awards director Damian Cummins said: “We are delighted to welcome Barons Cambridge on board as our sponsor and to receive further support for our Town & County Business Champions 2021. We really are so excited and passionate about these awards as they are designed to celebrate the very best of local businesses, from the High Streets to those independents hidden away in the nooks and crannies of towns and villages.

“These awards aren’t stuffy, corporate business awards, they are all about the people and stories behind the business and we want to celebrate them and give them a title worthy of their efforts – that of champion.”

The awards will culminate with two regional finals in Northern England Southern England. The regional finals will produce champions at both town and county levels and businesses will only be in competition with other firms from their area.
