Trust CEO and local business owner open new Children’s Day Procedures Unit at East Surrey Hospital
At an event on Friday 10th May, East Surrey Hospital unveiled its newly transformed Children’s Day Procedures Unit, marking a significant milestone in the hospital’s children’s services. The project, which began in March, was made possible through the generous support of SkinSense CEO Abi Cleeve. The company based in Redhill donated £12,000 to SASH Charity – the charity for the Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust – earlier this year as part of its Children’s appeal.
Abi Cleeve: “It is wonderful to receive thanks but it is us that want to say a HUGE thank you to all the staff for the incredible work they do. I hope we can encourage more local businesses to support the ever-growing and very vital list of improvements, big and small, that can make all the difference to the children, parents, and staff in our community. I would urge all local businesses to look at what they can do to help and support the hard work of these amazing people. My team have loved being a part of this project and most importantly to give children and young people a space that is more welcoming and comfortable whilst they undergo treatment.”
