Woman that changed the health of millions of Britons crowned as national champion
A woman that has been changing the health of millions of Britons over the last five decades has been crowned the Overall Winner at the prestigious National Business Women’s Awards 2023.
Margaret Miles-Bramwell OBE created Slimming World in 1969 at her kitchen table and has built the UK and Ireland’s most effective and best loved weight management company. She was crowned the Overall Winner in the shadow of the iconic Wembley Stadium at the London Wembley Hilton where the very best of women in business from the UK were celebrated.

The National Business Women’s Awards are recognised as one the most prestigious celebration of women working in business across the UK. It has a vision to raise the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising British women on a national level.
The Awards are made by an independent and expert panel of Judges and categories of Awards include Best New Business, Influential Business Woman of the Year, Community Champion and Young Business Woman of the Year.
